Since 1995, January 10th has been established as the National Cut Your Energy Costs Day.
The beginning of January, as the start of a new year, can be the perfect moment to reflect on how we use energy sources. The Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance aimed to highlight the opportunities that energy savings bring – not only from an environmental perspective but also from a social one. An economic approach to this matter can therefore bring many benefits, such as respecting the planet’s resources and even reducing expenses related to fees.
At FAKRO, guided by the GO GREEN philosophy, we pay special attention to conducting business ethically in terms of sustainable energy use. In our daily operations, we adhere to basic principles, such as using energy-efficient equipment or making sure to turn off lights when leaving a room. From the perspective of the entire facility’s operations, we focus on using energy from renewable sources, particularly from energy willow and photovoltaic panels. We also optimize consumption by switching to LED lighting.
These are just a handful of best practices through which FAKRO demonstrates its responsible approach to sustainable energy use.
What about you? How do you save energy? We encourage you to follow FAKRO’s lead and do something good for our planet.
